Traditional Industries

Traditional or mixed-traditional industries and services sectors are responsible for a large part of Israel’s production and employment. However, these industries are experiencing both low employee productivity and a slow rate of improvement in productivity overall, and many employers are unaware of important changes they could make to positively affect their business model and bottom line.

The Israel 2028 plan details a number of strategies designed to improve productivity in traditional industries, including providing incentives to employers to explore innovative solutions like implementing advanced technologies and being more open to organizational changes and business model modifications.
