US-ISRAEL INNOVATION – Former TechAmerica President Phil Bond is set to moderate a panel today that will focus on the U.S and Israel’s high tech connection. During the event, the U.S.-Israel Science and Technology Foundation will also release its first “Innovation Index” report, which breaks down three years of data to compare the U.S. and Israel’s tech relationship against a set of nine competitive nations. The report’s conclusion: Aside from the R&D category, “the Israel-U.S. level of collaboration is stronger than the relationship between the U.S. and any of the other countries surveyed.” The fun kicks off at 9 a.m. at the National Press Club.
